What to Expect

Your First Appointment (The Intake)

At your first appointment (which will last about 1.5–2 hours), you can expect us to talk… a lot. I will take lots of notes and ask you questions about your health concerns, your life and lifestyle in general, and maybe some questions you aren’t expecting (homeopaths are known for asking weird questions). But don’t worry, I’m pretty good at making you feel comfortable throughout the whole thing. All of my appointments are conducted virtually at the moment, so I can’t pour you a cup of coffee, but feel free to make yourself a cup of something delicious as we settle in and get to know each other.

After our first appointment, I will take a few days to evaluate your case and decide which homeopathic remedies will be most beneficial for you. Then we get you the remedies, walk you through instructions for taking them, and book a follow-up appointment for about 2 to 6 weeks after that, depending on your needs.

What Happens Next

Your First Follow-Up and Additional Follow-Up Appointments

The follow-up appointment is extremely important, as homeopathy doesn’t work in the same way as pharmacology or herbal medicines, so it’s important to be able to evaluate any changes in person. This is why your first follow-up appointment is included in the initial consultation price – so you don’t have to worry about an extra fee for us to evaluate your initial progress.

Additional follow-up appointments may be needed, and we’ll discuss a timeline for those based on your unique needs and how we can best support you on your healing journey. You can also book in as a follow-up appointment for any new health concerns or issues that come up for you as time goes on, or even just to check in as a ‘tune up’ every now and again. I look forward to building a lasting healing relationship with you where we work together over time to support the best and healthiest version of yourself.

When Life Happens

First-Aid/Acute Treatment

I offer first-aid and acute treatment to help you through non-emergency minor problems. This covers things like colds and stomach bugs, minor injuries, and general homeopathic support for preparing for minor procedures, like dental work, etc. In general, this consultation lasts about 15–25 minutes and the remedy is usually provided the same day or next day, or is a common remedy you can easily pick up at the store. These appointments are available for established patients only, and the cost of the remedy or remedies is additional.
